Aqua Collection By Sleek Make Up

Sleek Make Up once again has  caught my attention. when I got an email that Sleek will be coming out with an aqua collection I told myself here I go again drooling over beautiful shades and colors that Sleek will come up with.

But when Hubby told me that he'll going away for a week in UK. I immediately asked him if he could score me these babies. =)

And because mi Amore is a spoiler, he happily got me the whole collection! Yay!!!!

I've been shying away on make up for a long long while,  but every time Sleek Make Up comes out with a new collection my heart jumps out of my chest.

 Why???

Look down and you'll find out!

See what I mean?
New Collection From Sleek make Up made me so excited this summer. With all its vibrant colors and refreshing hues It's like summer 2013 is going be a blast!

The Collection:

i-Divine- LagoonThe pigment packed Lagoon i-Divine eye shadow palette boasts 12 shades that pop on all skin tones, with colours inspired by legendary tales of mermaids. Including 9 shimmer shades and 3 matte shades, Lagoon i-Divine holds the key colours to be seen in this spring. Choose from shades such as Sassea an aquatic blue, Emerald a sea green, Sand Dollar a shimmering shell shade for a wearable wash of colour on lids, and a matte coral shade aptly named Ariel! Black Pearl produces a smoky pearlescent finish that adds a contrasting gothic appeal, perfect for a smoky eye.

Mirriored Blush: Shimmer and shine with the silky fine and ultra long lasting Mirrored Pink blush that suits all skin tones. Swirl on to cheeks for a reflective, gleaming pink shade that gives a lustrous shine to skin, harmonising perfectly with the high shine of the eye shadows.

Nail Set: Deep Waves features four oceanic themed shades that add a jolt of vibrancy in primary colours such as Tropic (yellow) , Pink Mirage (pink) , Deep Coral (coral) and Cote d’Azur (azure blue).

Ooohhh! I can't wait to use these on my summer get away!!!

Simple Review: Sleek Make Up Shangrila LE Collection

Finally got my hands on these beautiful eyeshadow palette.

The color combination of both palettes are delectable. Very nice to play with. The colors are great from spring  and summer tones. That's why I fell in love with them

These palettes are a collaboration between london based fashion house PPQ and Sleek Make-up.
PPQ is a fashion house launched by Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker.
They are responsible for such trends as the drain pipe jeans and for dressing major music artists such as Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty.
Inspired by 60's motown and both are filled with 12 vibrant, high pigment powder eyeshadows.

Supreme Palette

This on great for people who prefer the more earthy tones. The Greens, ochres, yellow and blues. Perfect for a sultry stained eye. This palette is mainly matte but also has frosted shades good for  highlighting.

Respect Palette
is a mixture of warm toned neutrals, plum and corals with a hot pink thrown in for good measure. this palettel is a little bit scary  for my liking as I haven't used any red on my lids. But Let's see maybe I can blend it down to soften the outcome and mix it with natural colors. hihihi!
Crossing my fingers on this one. =)

I don't have swatches yet as I don't want to disturb their immaculate look. Yes I've been staring at them since I got them. =)) And I really wanted to try them out soon.
hmmmm..... maybe I get to use them on Valentine's Day! yay!

Xoxo

Simple Review: SLEEK CORRECTOR & CONCEALER PALETTE

Today I'm gonna give you a simple review about Sleek Make Up Corrector & Concealer palette.

Yes another Sleek Make Up to review I know. As you can see Sleek MakeUp is now my staple or go to makeup product for a year now. Love them to bits because they don't cost an arm and a leg like other brand. Product also delivers what it says. And with its mid range price?
I can proudly say I can collect them all without hurting my wallet or even I don't have to smash my piggy bank just to get it.. =)

Anyway back to our review

Item Says:
The ultimate concealer palette containing a corrector, concealer and setting powder in one handy compact, perfect for on-the-go touch up's.
The brightening properties within the corrector give an instant lift to the eye area, whilst the concealer neutralises discolouration leaving you looking wide awake and flawless. Use the light setting powder to hold the concealer in place.
Both the concealer and powder contain SPF15. Price at 650.00 locally or USD 9.99 via Sleek Make Up UK.

Packaging
All Sleek make up packaging are  sturdy. I love the matte black compact as its very elegant and sleek looking. It's flat that you can easily slip it on your bag pocket without a hassle specially if you need to do some touch up. It also has a mirror just like its blushes and iDivine palette that I really find it so convenient especially when I'm not in front of my vanity.
Note : That I swatched this product on a  BARE face before I review
The corrector for the eye area is quite impressive. It's not too creamy and not too thick that I can easily apply and blend. I can also build how much product I want to put in your eye area. Doesn't give you that white film around the eyes as it blends well on skin.

swatches: Corrector, Concealer & Light powder on my arm
The concealer is also good that I only need a small dab on to the palette to conceal the redness of my face, marks and imperfections. It's also not sticky and is very easy to apply.(I posted before that I despise sticky products)  I only use dabbing motion on to my face and the product blends in naturally.
The only down side I see is using it on my bare face alone  I find out that it doesn't totally cover the dark marks around my lip but I'm sure it'll cover if I put on foundation first.
The Light setting powder  blends on my skin instantly it doesn't give me that obvious powder  look dabbed on to my skin which I find it great.

Over all I think Sleek make up impressed once me again with this palette and it's price. Great to use everyday as it doesn't feel heavy on skin and goo to keep inside my bag for minor concealing during the day.

XOXO

Color Me With Sleek Eau la la Liners

When I heard that Sleek Make UP is coming up with a  liner. I thought hmmm... most probably it'll be the same as the old ones but with a different packaging.  I though it'll be like same old color as black brown blue and purple which I usually see mostly in a make up brand.

But I was totally taken aback when I saw that the liners they were talking about on the blog sphere were long lasting and  it could be use for something more that just an eyeliner that's when I thought I should check it out.

And lo and behold I was proven wrong! These is not the regular  liner I often see. But

Here's what it says:

20 colors to choose from! And to play around with that I find awesome!

The smudge proof I'm not surprise that they would come up with one as It was expected that Sleek Make Up must surpass the last eyeliner on its own brand.

So with that claim I told myself that I had to get them and try. Sadly, I got only 14 of them so I still need to find the other 6. =))

Here they are

 and swatches!!!

Swatches From Left to Right:
Noir, Pumpkin, Moulin Rouge, Raisin, Red Night Sky, Blue Moon, Venom, Canary Yellow, Tonic, Melba, Satchel, Bullion, Noir and Cobalt blue.

Okay! So tonight, I wouldn't take them off because I really wanted to see if they're  really smudge proof and how many hours will they last. ( Good thing I already showered and now ready for bed)

I'll post in the morning what happened to them okay. Good night for now. =))

Here's what they look like this morning after all that tossing and turning in bed

They've smudged a little but not as I thought they will be. ( I'm a restless sleeper so I expect them to be almost gone this morning). =P

Not bad right? They are still visible and no smear on my sheets. Smudge proof is claim is TRUE!!!

Pro:

*Colors are superb and very pigmented.
*Application is divine.

Cons:
*Nothing bad to say about the product really aside from for now it's just available on Sleek Make Up site and Super Drug Stores in UK.

Anyway, for our next post

On the claim  where I was really intrigued "MULTI-PURPOSE pencils".

Will try them on next so watch out for that on my next post. =))

Sleek Make Up Swatches

All True Color lipstick are very pigmented. There's Sheen and Matte finish. Some with shimmers too. They are mostly bold b,right and beautiful!

Yes, this Girl can't go out without a lipstick! =)

Pros:
Most colors could be worn from day to night
Packaging doesn't look cheap and very sturdy
No smell nor taste
Good formulation
Cheap for  only Php 400  locally

Cons.
All bright & bold
I wish they could come up with more nude colors
Matte formulation could be drying but could be mended by applying a lip balm first which is sometimes a hassle.

Recommend these colors to people who love bold colors and to the ones who would like to use just lipstick as their everyday make up.

Will I buy again? Definitely, Yes. =))

Review: Sleek Make Up Magnitude Mascara

Mascara for me is one of the most essential when it comes to make up application. It give's life to my chinita eyes and it makes my lashes thicker and fuller. Hmmm my eyes are what I can say the most expressive and sexy part of my body. Ha Ha ha!

So, today I'll give you a review about what mascara I've been using lately. You see, before I post a review on some products I do test the make up or skin care first for about a  week or so  before I could really tell or give my opinion if the product really is worth it or not. I don't just give it a second chance or third. I'd definitely would like to  give it a week long test runs. Ha! Well, that's just me.

So Here's what Sleek Make up has to say about this product

An innovative two step mascara which gives the illusion of false lashes.

The first step lengthens the lashes whilst the second step extends lashes across and upwards to create intense and dramatic lashes.

First apply one coat of the “Lengthening” white base to the lashes, wait for twenty seconds and then apply one coat of the black “Volumising” top coat. 2 x 6.5g

With this in mind, I did just that

Step 1 : white to lengthen my lashes. (sorry for the crappy eyeliner I honestly didn't apply it properly this time. =P

Then  step 2  to give volume . Hmmm So far so good.  I  first I was hesitant abut this product as I though it would clump my lashes quickly but to be honest I was quite impressed because it didn't. With the right application you'll have no clump at all. And it doesn't feel rubbery on your lashes too.

Taking it off was no problem too.  Cotton pad with cleansing oil will do it best or just warm water. It'll crumple without making you look like a raccoon! =P

And so for the effect?

A happy, sparkly eyed me!!!

Variants:

*Black
*Waterproof Black

Pros:
* easy to apply
*cheap  for a good quality mascara USD6.00 or Php 370.00  a pop locally
* No smudge
*easy to take off with a cleansing oil or just warm water.

Cons.
* Only available onSleek Make Up website, Super drug in UK , at multiply or  bazaars locally

So, what mascara are you currently using?

Few weeks ago I posted a collection of Sleek make up that I dreamed about. Yes! they all came true and I'm so excited to show them to you little by little.

My eyes were kinda small that's why I can't sport heavy  eye make up but when I hit the right note on eye shadows  it cold turn out to be in a nice sexy treat.

 I used #3 Champane, #7 Bronze shimmer , #12 Charcoal gold

I'm in the mood to do my peepers using Sleek i-divine palette in STORM
This palette is a compose of shimmers & mattes.  Neutrals to dark shaded eye shadows, which for me is a perfect eye platte.
This is also perfect for traveling as the size is not thick or big at all.

Sleek Make Up Part 4 ( i-Divine Palette)

Of course my make up won't be complete without brushing up some sparklers in my eyes. Be it a simple natural application for a casual day or create a sexy smokey eyes for night parties.

Eyeshadows can't be taken out of the whole idea of GLAM.

So here's my take of the  Sleek Make up i-Divine palettes

The ORIGINAL  i-Divine palette contains a variety of highly-pigmented colours, ranging from green to purple, allowing you to create endless looks fit for day or night.

The velvet-touch consistency gives full and shimmering coverage to the eye lid for maximum effect. Each of the 12 shades can be applied alone for a dramatic effect or mixed to create a personalised look.

****

I find this palette interesting as it has a different variety of colors. It can create look from day to  night . Yes they stand out but it won't stop me from creating a very unique combination because of the blue,  the pink and  peach shades that you can see on the palette. I love the dark and olive greens, the bronze and that rust colors though. I can imagine myself  looking fierce on those  shades. ha!

The STORMi-Divine palette comprises of 12 strong and rich shades perfect for accentuating the eyes and creating natural looks.

The velvet-touch consistency gives full and shimmering coverage to the eye lid for maximum effect. Each shade can be applied alone for a dramatic effect or mixed to create a personalised look.

****

Storm this one is the best seller, I can't wait to try this palette as I am  at sucker for simple and natural look. All the colors on this palette makes me feel like doing an FOTD soon. hmmmm....

I Divine BAD GIRL is a highly pigmented, soft touch eye shadow palette that possesses 12 pearlescent or matte shades. The pearlescent shades possess a large amount of mica and reflect the light giving a shimmering effect to the eye. The colour viewed in the palette is the colour that will be applied to the eye, as the payoff is excellent and the formulation is long lasting.

Bad girl contains strong and deep shades which allow one to uncover their hidden fantasies. This palette can be extreme, powerful, confident as well as sensual.

*****

Oh this one is definitely fierce! I will have to use this for my evening events as they are all in dark shade. Or maybe I could also use it during day time but with a subtle application ei?

This palette will sure really make my eyes smaller I know but  I can't wait to do a smokey eye out of this baby. Look at those grays and purples and blues and blacks. Aren't they interesting to play with?

I love you  Sleek! You have a very good range of colors for me to play around with, And without me going bankrupt! ha!

Hey this is also perfect for people who are on the budget and on the look out for an e/s palette that they could bring around, yeah?

Now I swear my peepers are happy as well as my pocket! Don't you agree? Lol!
