Fell in love with the same LEATHER once again.

Found my way back to my first  leather love. hihhi! It's been years since I had my last  leather from Our Tribe. But now I finally rekindle my long lost love for the beautiful soft leather that is  100% pinoy made.

I had something like this in Caramel brown when I was in University, and tossed it only about 3years back. Imagine how durable they are. =)

Anyway to start off, here's what the company is all about

Our Tribe (est.1972) is a Filipino-owned company known for its quality leather bags, sandals and other leather accessories. It uses traditional, time-tested techniques, as well as innovative methods, in the manufacturing of its products. Generations of customers attest to the quality and durability of Our Tribe products. Although firmly established as a niche player in classic designs, Our Tribe is now also making a name for itself as a major player in the design of leather products for the youth and the young-adult market.

I love that OUR TRIBE is what we can say TRULY PINOY OWNED. The company maybe local but the quality is superb, at par or most of the time way better that other international brand which cost you an arm and a leg , sometimes a head right? I'm proud to say that OUR TRIBE is one of a kind leather company who doesn't compromise its quality. All their products are carefully thought of and  meticulously produced. They are comfy, durable and on the budget.

As I passed by Our Tribe's  shop in Market Market yesterday I got myself  2 beautiful leather goodies I can't resist.

TADAAAAA!

Belt bag I'd love to bring along when I have photo walks and marketing.

Not too big yet not too small for my phone to fit right in and some important cards & cash to bring along. This is also great when I go to divisoria. hihihi!

And a comfy sandals which reminds me of the gladiators I had before but these are more casual and relaxing to use. They'll be great on my jeans, short and sundress! Smug fit that's what I like.

I bet these babies will be my comfy friends for a looooong, loooong time. =)

XOXO

Aqua Collection By Sleek Make Up

Sleek Make Up once again has  caught my attention. when I got an email that Sleek will be coming out with an aqua collection I told myself here I go again drooling over beautiful shades and colors that Sleek will come up with.

But when Hubby told me that he'll going away for a week in UK. I immediately asked him if he could score me these babies. =)

And because mi Amore is a spoiler, he happily got me the whole collection! Yay!!!!

I've been shying away on make up for a long long while,  but every time Sleek Make Up comes out with a new collection my heart jumps out of my chest.

 Why???

Look down and you'll find out!

See what I mean?
New Collection From Sleek make Up made me so excited this summer. With all its vibrant colors and refreshing hues It's like summer 2013 is going be a blast!

The Collection:

i-Divine- LagoonThe pigment packed Lagoon i-Divine eye shadow palette boasts 12 shades that pop on all skin tones, with colours inspired by legendary tales of mermaids. Including 9 shimmer shades and 3 matte shades, Lagoon i-Divine holds the key colours to be seen in this spring. Choose from shades such as Sassea an aquatic blue, Emerald a sea green, Sand Dollar a shimmering shell shade for a wearable wash of colour on lids, and a matte coral shade aptly named Ariel! Black Pearl produces a smoky pearlescent finish that adds a contrasting gothic appeal, perfect for a smoky eye.

Mirriored Blush: Shimmer and shine with the silky fine and ultra long lasting Mirrored Pink blush that suits all skin tones. Swirl on to cheeks for a reflective, gleaming pink shade that gives a lustrous shine to skin, harmonising perfectly with the high shine of the eye shadows.

Nail Set: Deep Waves features four oceanic themed shades that add a jolt of vibrancy in primary colours such as Tropic (yellow) , Pink Mirage (pink) , Deep Coral (coral) and Cote d’Azur (azure blue).

Swatches: MUA Lip Boom

I know I blogged about Lip Boom Lipsticks  ages ago and I promised that I'll be posting swatches if my memory serves me right. ha ha ha!

anyways, here they are

All of these lippies are on satin matte finish that I truly love.

They're mostly satin matte finish  that easily glides on lips without a drag.

All great for everyday use and as I told you on my earlier blog the finish is like  Chanel RA Velvet finish.

Oh yes they're worth every penny.

Simple Review: Laura Mercier Camouflage Concealer

How I wish I could be as flawless as most of the actresses and models on the glossy paper. But just like anyone else I don't have perfect skin. I also suffer  dark spots, discoloration and the works. Having that even skin tone, no blemish look seems so unreachable and so I have to camouflage some of them just to have it even only for a good few hours.

Anyway, today I'll give a review about Laura Mercier's  Secret Camouflage.

What it is:
A dual-tone concealer that completely camouflages dark circles, minor imperfections, and discolorations.

What it does:
This versatile concealer contains a unique two-shade system: one to match the skin's depth of color and one to match the skin's undertone, making it possible for every woman to custom-blend her own perfect shade. The high level of pigment requires very little product to achieve perfect coverage.

What else you need to know:
Dermatologist tested

Laura Mercier has been good to my skin as far as I'm concern. I love their tinted moisturizer in bisque. The pan of the secret camouflage is bigger than of the regular concealer that I see in the market plus only a small swirl and I can blend it out nicely on my skin without any problems. They're both in creamy form.

Doesn't feel heavy on skin and I find it very versatile. I use this not just on my face but also on spots on my neck and  chest which at the moment looks blotchy and patchy.

They may be expensive at Sgd 48 - Php 1,579.65  but the end result is amazing. worth every penny as I always say it.

So far Secret camouflage  is now  my new bff when it comes to concealing dark spots. Aside from my fave Sleek Hide it concealer.  It's really pigmented and the cover is super rich. one swirl and you wouldn't see that dark spot. Giving me an even skin tone in an instant.

Yay!

Simple Review: MUA Blush Perfection Cream Blushers

I've only own a cream blush once that was in 2006 and  it was MAC cram blush (i can't even remember the name of it) which I gave away as soon as I got it. I don't know why I gave it away  but maybe I was just not into it at that time.

Now I'm more curious on what cream blush would look on me so I purchased these MUA cream blushers. Most of the reviews I read say's the pan is so small but for a first time cream blusher user like me I think this is packaging is just great. And hello with a price tag about Php 300 a pop I think is very inexpensive.

So today I'll give you MUA Blush Perfection  Cream Blusher

Item Description

Enhance your complexion and say goodbye to dull-looking skin!
These cream blushers are very versatile and multi-purpose. They can be directly applied to bare skin, layered over foundation or set with the matching matte blushers. You can use blush perfection to highlight your cheekbones, shape your face, build and blend with fingers or a brush to create the colour intensity. The colour effects range from a light pink to warm shade, depending on method of application.

Swatches on the pan

I agree with the the bloggers who said the pan was so small I could only use the product by dabbing my fingers on the pan and pat it on my cheeks. But hey they come in cheap so can't complain too much right?

The texture though  is nice because I don't have to tug my skin to spread the color. It blends easily and it doesn't feel sticky at all.

I can also build the color from light to dark if I wanted to . Which I find it really pleasing  Jut let it sit for a while before dabbing your powder  to set.

All three colors could be used from day to night without giving you a dull look. =)

Simple Review: Sleek Make Up Shangrila LE Collection

Finally got my hands on these beautiful eyeshadow palette.

The color combination of both palettes are delectable. Very nice to play with. The colors are great from spring  and summer tones. That's why I fell in love with them

These palettes are a collaboration between london based fashion house PPQ and Sleek Make-up.
PPQ is a fashion house launched by Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker.
They are responsible for such trends as the drain pipe jeans and for dressing major music artists such as Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty.
Inspired by 60's motown and both are filled with 12 vibrant, high pigment powder eyeshadows.

Supreme Palette

This on great for people who prefer the more earthy tones. The Greens, ochres, yellow and blues. Perfect for a sultry stained eye. This palette is mainly matte but also has frosted shades good for  highlighting.

Respect Palette
is a mixture of warm toned neutrals, plum and corals with a hot pink thrown in for good measure. this palettel is a little bit scary  for my liking as I haven't used any red on my lids. But Let's see maybe I can blend it down to soften the outcome and mix it with natural colors. hihihi!
Crossing my fingers on this one. =)

I don't have swatches yet as I don't want to disturb their immaculate look. Yes I've been staring at them since I got them. =)) And I really wanted to try them out soon.
hmmmm..... maybe I get to use them on Valentine's Day! yay!

Xoxo
