Product Comparison: Chanel de Horizon & Tendres de Chanel

As promised, here's my review for both items.

Chanel de Horizon
The luminous hues of sunset are now captured in one elegant highlighting face powder. Subtle gradations of rose, coral and peach can be applied on their own or blended together, to highlight and sculpt the face or achieve an overall warmth and radiance.

Chanel les Tendres de Chanel
This palette includes three blush hues and a face highlighter in subtle tender pink tones. Delicately iridescent, these alluring shades embellish the complexion and infuse the face with a soft and flattering glow.

Side by side each other there's a lot of difference between the two obviously

Horizon:
Spring collection 2012
regular size of a Chanel blush and with small brush on a separate pouch
has 5 shades
Combination of matte and shimmers
HK$ 540.00

Tendres
Bought in Cathay pacific  inflight shopping
Packaging is like that of the powder foundation with brush inside
Has 4 matte shades
Hk$ 420.00

When applied I think the slightest difference of this two is the shimmer and that of Horizon somehow produces a slightly dark hues because of its only one darker tone.  But surely this can be attained by Tendres  when applied heavily.

For me  both items are beautiful and supple on my skin.  I really can't choose between the two which one is my favorite  except for the price.

Tendres de Chanel  is HKD 420.00   while Chanel horizon is Hk$ 540.00.

How about you? Which of the 2 would you like?

Dreamed about Sleek Make Up Part 2 (blushes)

I know that you loved my post  "Dreamed of Sleek Make up Part 1" and so now I'll share with you my Part 2 This time it's about Sleek Make Up blushes.

Note: Please don't be deceived by how bright or dark they look because I guarantee that these is just a front. Ha!

I find the rectangular shape of Sleeks case very convenient. It's not bulky and could actually fit in to my small purse.   Case is in a  sturdy matte black which is good for me because it doesn't shows scratches in time.

Pomegranate captured my eyes first. it's in that deep old rose color.

This shade is good for  every night outs on my  black dress and having fun with the girls or on a dinner date. It's also a good blush during those gloomy rainy days or winter days  to give me that happy feeling while out in the rain /snow.

Pixie Pink is a girly shade that will suit  casual days. It'll be a fun everyday shade. hmmm.... this shade actually reminds me of  MAC dolly pink which I also love.

Oh! Sunrise your  such a beautiful sight!  This shade will rock my summer days! I fell inlove with those not so prominent shimmers. I think it will be best to for me  wear this on a good night out and during summer time while I'm on the beach having a sun bath and sipping my mojito!

Yes Coral!  You're matte and a deep brick red  color but you can't stop me from wearing you baby. You  have that rusty color that will made me feel intimidated but once I swipe you on my cheeks I'm sure you'll tame up. ha!

SWATCHES : L-R Pomegranate, Pixie pink, Sunrise and Coral

See? I only use my fingers  to put them on my skin to see how nice they are.  Just a little swipe, tap and dab. Viola! Prettiness appears!

These shades are so pigmented and build able  that I only need a light swipe using  MAC 129 blush brush.

So do you think you can handle these shades as well as I do?

Oh My Gosh!

Yes OMG! I didn't know that Gosh Cosmetics have these lovely blushes until I became curious why some of the Chinese ladies are going all over them the other day.

And now I know why.

See the shades? Yes they are very very nice pinks. There were actually 4 blushes but I found one of them really off so I just decided to get just 3. They were all on the pinkish side so I didn't have a choice but to take them all home and try.

The Packaging is a see through on top with a black rim and black bottom. The very important advantage of these GOSH blushes is that all of them are in Matte. And that is a PLUS for me.

39 Electric pink is nice bright pink.(top Left) which I love the most.
37 True Cinnamon is warm pink color. (Bottom)
36 Rose whisper is a pink with a wee bit if peach in it. ( Top Right)

Swatches L to R Electric Pink, True Cinnamon, Rose Whisper

Shades are highly pigmented only a little swipe of your brush on these babies and surely you'll have nice color on your cheeks.

Staying power is not too bad either. I used Electric pink the whole day yesterday and so far no retouching needed.

Will I get more? Yes but not in a hurry.
